Dallas Auto Show 2012

I was privileged to be able to attend the media day for the Dallas Auto Show and hear from the manufacturers on all their new offerings. Naturally, I took a few photos.

I also, thanks to GM, was able to drive the new 6spd automatic Buick Regal GS. While I wished they had provided the 6spd manual for us, the automatic is a new offering for the car, so it was understandable that they wanted us to try it out. The car road really well, had amazing grip, and it was quite responsive. When “Sport” mode is activated, the shocks stiffen by 20%. When “GS” mode is activated, they stiffen another 20% along with a little extra weight being added to the steering feel. Overall, I was quite impressed.
